ONION FUTURE
Onion Future is an RPG in development for the Playdate, a handheld console with a crank on the side. The playdate supports 1-bit black-and-white pixel art and has a resolution of 400px by 240px.
As one of the two-pixel artists for this project, I’ve had the opportunity to work on every aspect of the world’s visuals, from the big stuff like character and environment art to subtler visual elements like how a page turns in our game menu.
Start Date: 1.13.25 Pre-Project Ideation

All of our animations and tile sheets are made within Aseprite and Pixquare (for iPad). Below are some examples of assets before we implement them onto the device.
